What the Role Involves
- Running Looms and Technical Equipment: You will operate and monitor weaving looms, developing a solid understanding of how the machines perform and ensuring they run efficiently throughout your shift.
- Maintaining High Production Standards: You will be responsible for both output and quality, ensuring the fabric produced meets required standards while maintaining steady productivity levels.
- Checking Quality and Reporting Issues: You will carry out essential quality checks, complete reporting tasks accurately and quickly inform your supervisor of any faults or concerns.
- Keeping Work Areas Safe and Organised: A clean and tidy workspace is vital. You will follow all health and safety guidelines and keep your machines and surrounding areas in good working order.
- Working as Part of a Tight‑Knit Team: While you will run your own set of machines, you are part of a larger team working towards shared production goals, with communication and reliability being key.
