Job Description
Job Title: Warehouse Operative & Forklift Operator
Location: Dundee
Pay Rate: 13.20 per hour
Hours: 36 hours per week (overtime available at time and a half)
Contract: Temporary (2-3 months) with potential for extension or permanent opportunity
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative & Forklift Operator to join our client's team in Dundee. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role offering an immediate start and the opportunity to secure longer-term employment with a well-established local employer.
You will play a key role in supporting day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring goods are handled safely, efficiently, and in line with operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Counterbalance and Reach forklifts safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, and move heavy materials with accuracy and care
- Carry out general warehouse duties as required
- Maintain accurate stock and movement records using SAP or ERP systems
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance and Reach Truck licences (essential)
- Previous experience using SAP or similar ERP systems
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and able to start at short notice
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices
Shift Pattern
This role operates on a rotating shift basis:
- 7:00am - 4:00pm
- 8:00am - 5:00pm
