We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Warehouse Operative to join a busy and growing warehouse operation in Aberdeen. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual who holds a valid, up-to-date Forklift Truck (FLT) licence and is looking for a role that offers stability, variety and the potential to secure a permanent position. The successful candidate will initially join on a temporary basis, with a genuine opportunity to move into a permanent role following a successful probationary period. Key Responsibilities As an FLT Warehouse Operative, your duties will include: Operating a Forklift Truck safely and efficiently to move stock throughout the warehouse Loading and unloading deliveries using FLT equipment Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch Receiving, checking and booking in incoming stock Organising stock within the warehouse and ensuring correct storage procedures are followed Assisting with stock control and inventory accuracy Supporting garment decoration processes, including heat sealing where required Carrying out manual handling duties in line with health and safety procedures Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily operational targets Undertaking general warehouse duties and providing support across departments when required Essential Requirements To be considered for this position, you must have: A valid, current FLT licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach licence depending on experience) Previous warehouse experience within a busy operational environment Experience operating forklift trucks safely and confidently A strong understanding of warehouse health and safety practices Good attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy The ability to prioritise workload and work efficiently under pressure A reliable and punctual approach to work Good communication and teamwork skills The ability to carry out the physical aspects of the role, including manual handling Desirable Experience While not essential, the following experience would be advantageous: Previous experience within a distribution, logistics or stock management environment Experience with stock control systems or handheld scanners Garment decoration or heat sealing experience What We Offer 13.45 per hour Genuine temp-to-perm opportunity Immediate start available Long-term career prospects with a growing business Varied and hands-on role with daily responsibilities Opportunity to develop additional warehouse and FLT skills Supportive and friendly working environment Stable, ongoing work with the potential for permanent employment Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who wants more than just another warehouse job.
