Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Paisley
Remuneration: 12.65 per hour
Contract Details: Temp To Perm
Responsibilities:
Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Operative! Here's what you'll be doing:
- Perform warehousing tasks in line with SOPs, GMP standards, PPI processes, and 5S principles.
- Operate semi-automated and automated equipment efficiently.
- prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively to meet daily operational targets.
- Conduct safety checks on mechanical equipment, including Reach and Counterbalance forklifts.
- utilise your computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and leverage ERP system experience (preferred).
- Maintain high housekeeping standards and a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively across teams to foster collaboration.
- Proactively suggest improvements and take ownership of your actions.
- Perform additional duties as needed in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
Requirements:

- Valid Counterbalance forklift licence.
- Experience within warehousing in a Manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP system experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Flexibility to work overtime and alternative shifts if required.
Working Conditions:
- Work in a varied warehouse environment, including ambient, cold room (2-8C), and freezer (-15 to -20C).
- Manual handling of loads up to 40 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Safe handling of chemicals and hazardous materials.
Team & Culture:
- Be part of a collaborative team structure.
- Dress code: standard warehouse attire with PPE.

Interview Process:
- Stage 1: Onsite interview (60 minutes) with the Hiring Manager and Department Team Leader.
