An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within an industry leading manufacturing organisation based in Stevenston. This is initially a temporary ongoing role with potential opportunity to go permanent for the right candidates as roles arise.
Purpose of the Role
To undertake the assembly of small components in a safe, efficient, and quality-focused manner while developing the skills and knowledge required to progress into a fully competent Operator position.
This is a day shift role Monday - Thursday 7am - 4.45pm. However, overtime on an attractive hourly rate may be offered.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble small components and sub-assemblies in line with work instructions and production schedules.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality requirements at all times.
- Carry out visual inspections to ensure components meet quality standards.
- Identify and report defects, shortages, equipment issues, or other production concerns.
- Maintain accurate production records where required.
- Work safely and comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Keep workstations clean, organised, and maintain standards.
- Meet productivity targets while maintaining high levels of quality and accuracy.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential
- Good attention to detail.

- Manual dexterity and ability to handle small components.

Desirable
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience.
- Experience working in a production environment.
