The Role
We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing environment operating on a rotating shift pattern. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and motivated individuals who enjoy working within a fast-paced production setting. Successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing process while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
- Follow established operating procedures and work instructions.
- Monitor products throughout the manufacturing process and identify defects.
- Carry out basic machine adjustments and report faults or breakdowns to supervisors.
- Complete production activities in line with daily schedules and targets.
- Accurately complete documentation and production records.
- Collect and prepare materials required for production operations.
- Package products to required standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team and operational goals.
- Assist with stock and inventory activities when required.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- The ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
