We are currently recruiting for an Engineering Technician to join a busy and fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual with experience in production or engineering environments. This role is temporary ongoing, minimum time is 4-6 months.

You will be responsible for operating and monitoring machinery within a production setting, ensuring materials are processed efficiently and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating and setting up production machinery and equipment
  • Monitoring product quality and identifying material defects
  • Performing basic maintenance and cleaning tasks
  • Loading and unloading materials using appropriate handling equipment
  • Recording production data using internal systems
  • Working closely with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations

Shift Pattern & Hours

2-week rotating shift pattern: 2 weeks on days, followed by 2 weeks on nights
4-day working week (Monday to Thursday)

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Ability to operate machinery and carry out basic adjustments
  • Good attention to detail and ability to identify faults or defects
  • Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment (lifting, standing for long periods)
  • Strong awareness of health & safety practices
  • FLT licence (desirable but not essential)
