We're currently recruiting for a Dispatch Administrator to join a busy manufacturing and distribution environment on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys coordinating processes, maintaining accurate records and ensuring operations run smoothly.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will play a key role in the dispatch function, helping to ensure products are delivered accurately, efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the dispatch and transportation of goods to customers.
- Ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered within agreed timescales.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records and documentation.
- Produce regular reports and analyse dispatch-related information.
- Process and check transport invoices and associated paperwork.
- Support wider operational and administrative reporting activities.
- Liaise with internal departments and external transport partners to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Provide general administrative support to the operations team as required.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within an administration role
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A proactive and reliable approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience within dispatch, logistics, transport, warehouse or manufacturing environments would be highly advantageous. Experience with Microsoft Office Package is also an advantage.
