A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled Electrician to join a well‐established manufacturing facility in Dumfries.   • Carry out electrical maintenance, including reactive, planned and improvement work on plant equipment and process machinery
  • Diagnose and repair electrical breakdowns on machinery, including PLCs and drive systems (training provided)
  • Install 3‐phase, single‐phase, containment and network cabling
  • Complete Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
  • Support project-based tasks linked to continuous site investment
  • Mentor apprentices and support their training and development, following logbook requirements and best practices

Strong electrical maintenance and fault‐finding skills, logical and proactive approach to preventative maintenance, willingness to learn new technologies and undergo further training, City & Guilds or SVQ Level 3 (Electrical) or equivalent, time‐served Electrician, experience within an industrial environment.
