We're recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join a busy operation in Perth.

With 40 hours per week and a 20% shift allowance, you can earn an estimated 15.84 per hour, making this an excellent short-term opportunity for someone looking to build their warehouse experience while earning a competitive rate.
You don't need to know everything from day one. What matters most is that you're reliable, willing to learn, able to follow processes accurately and comfortable with a physical working environment.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play an important part in making sure products are picked, handled and moved safely and accurately.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Picking and handling products accurately
- Moving products and stock safely around the warehouse
- Following established warehouse processes and procedures
- Carrying out regular manual handling tasks
- Lifting items weighing approximately 7.5kg
- Pushing and pulling picking carts as part of your daily duties
- Using pallet trucks and other mechanical handling equipment once trained
- Supporting the loading of vehicles
- Working outdoors when loading vehicles when required
- Completing repetitive tasks while maintaining a good level of accuracy
- Carrying out safety checks before beginning work
- Identifying and reporting errors, hazards or issues
- Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping
- Working closely with colleagues to keep warehouse operations running efficiently
- Following all health and safety procedures
Comfortable Working in a Cold Environment?
An important part of this role is working within different temperature-controlled environments.
Up to 60% of your working time may be spent in cold-room temperatures down to approximately 2C.
We want candidates to know this before applying, so you'll need to be genuinely comfortable working in colder conditions for significant periods of your shift.
