The Role
As a Packing Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring products are packed accurately and efficiently before being dispatched to customers.
Working within a busy production environment, you'll follow established procedures and quality standards while supporting the wider team to meet production targets and deadlines.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Packing products into boxes and tubing to specification
- Selecting the correct packaging materials in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Printing labels and preparing products for dispatch
- Reading and interpreting work instructions and production documentation
- Managing workloads and prioritising orders appropriately
- Ensuring products are packed accurately and meet quality standards
- Recording information and updating systems where required
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
- Working efficiently to achieve production deadlines and targets
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment
