Finishing Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing team in Perth.

Working within the finishing department, you'll play an important role in ensuring products meet the highest standards before they move to the next stage of production or dispatch.

Full training will be provided, making this role suitable for candidates with production experience who are looking to build a long-term career within manufacturing.

The Role

As a Finishing Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of finishing and quality-related tasks to ensure products are completed accurately and efficiently.

Working as part of a supportive production team, you will help maintain quality standards while ensuring production targets are achieved safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Finishing manufactured products to the required quality standards.
  • Inspecting products for defects, faults and inconsistencies.
  • Carrying out visual quality checks throughout the production process.
  • Trimming, cleaning and preparing finished products for the next stage of manufacture or packing.
  • Following standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Handling products safely and carefully to avoid damage.
  • Recording production and quality information accurately.
  • Identifying and reporting any quality concerns to supervisors.
  • Assisting with packing and labelling activities when required.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area.
  • Supporting other production departments as operational requirements dictate.
  • Following all health and safety procedures at all times.
