Your Responsibilities:
- Preparation of annual accounts, business tax, and personal tax
- Identification of tax issues and implications
- Support and cover for team members
- Review and feedback on work undertaken by Assistants and Advisors
- Scheduling and allocation of work in the portfolio
- Training and guidance on software packages
- Keeping up to date with accounting and tax developments
- Communication with clients to obtain necessary information
- Ensuring compliance with relevant processes and deadlines
- Providing outputs to clients and senior team members with analysis and explanations
- Assisting with fee proposals and terms of engagement
To thrive in this role, you'll need a degree/college accounting qualification and ideally possess an ICAS/ACCA qualification or relevant on-the-job experience. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are crucial.
