L&D Trainer / Instructional Designer (Workday)

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Trainer / Instructional Designer to support the rollout of a new Workday HR platform across the organisation.
Working as part of a major transformation programme, you will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering engaging learning solutions that ensure employees and managers are confident using the new system. This is a hands-on role combining training delivery, content creation and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop learning materials to support the Workday implementation
- Deliver engaging virtual and classroom-based training sessions
- Create user guides, quick reference guides, e-learning content and supporting resources
- Conduct training needs analysis and identify learning requirements across different user groups
- Work closely with HR, project teams and SMEs to develop effective learning solutions
- Support change adoption and user readiness activities
- Deliver train-the-trainer sessions where required
- Provide go-live and post-implementation support to end users
- Gather feedback and continuously improve learning content and delivery methods
Experience Required
- Previous experience delivering training for Workday, HR systems or HRIS platforms
- Strong background in Learning & Development, Training, Instructional Design or Digital Learning
- Experience creating training materials from scratch
- Ability to deliver both virtual and face-to-face training sessions
- Experience supporting system implementations, transformations or change programmes
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently within a fast-paced project environment
