Kitchen Assistant - Wickford & Basildon - 10:30am - 1:30pm (3 hours per day) - November Start - Temporary role until Christmas - Competitive hourly rate
We're currently recruiting for experienced Kitchen Assistants to work in school and catering environments in Wickford and Basildon. These are ideal part-time roles for candidates looking for consistent morning work leading up to Christmas.
Duties
- Assisting with food preparation
- Serving meals
- Washing up and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
- Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
Essential Requirements
- Previous kitchen or catering experience
- Valid Enhanced DBS Certificate
- Registered on the DBS Update Service
- Reliable and able to start in November
- Good understanding of food hygiene standards
