Job Title: Production Operative (Italian Speaking)
Location: Liverpool
Pay: £13.00 per hour (Weekdays) | £13.50 per hour (Weekends)
Shift Pattern: Rotating Shifts (6:00am - 2:00pm, 2:00pm - 10:00pm, 10:00pm - 6:00am)
About the Organisation
Our client is a prominent leader with over 30 years of expertise in the production industry. Due to their continuous growth and commitment to excellence, they are now seeking a motivated and reliable Production Operative to join their dynamic manufacturing team.
The Role
In this vital role, you will contribute significantly to the efficiency of the production line, ensuring that machinery operates seamlessly to meet production targets. Your proactive approach will be key to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute production orders promptly and accurately to achieve set objectives.
- Carry out adjustments, tooling, and format changes on the production line.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to oversee temporary workers in your area.
- Adhere to instructions regarding product quality, safety, and hygiene.
- Monitor and check the quality of processes (rewinding, packaging, etc.) and finished products.
- Record vital data in system documents for traceability and quality control.
- Manage materials effectively, ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness of all areas and equipment, following the Cleaning Plan guidelines.
What's Required
- Fluency in both Italian and English is essential.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work rotating shifts and maintain a proactive, reliable approach.
- Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced production environment.
