Our client, a prominent player in the healthcare sector, is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Recruitment Officer to join their team in Lakenham, Norwich. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vital industry while enhancing the recruitment processes within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Recruitment Officer, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the recruitment journey. Responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting engaging job adverts for review to attract top talent.
  • Arranging interviews and managing candidates throughout the selection process.
  • Preparing conditional offer letters and ensuring all pre-employment recruitment checks are completed efficiently.
  • Coordinating start dates and onboarding processes for new hires.
  • Responding to general enquiries via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions with professionalism and a welcoming demeanour.
  • Supporting in-person recruitment events, representing the organisation and engaging potential candidates.
  • Conducting data entry and retrieval tasks for vacancies, applicants, and colleagues using the Electronic Staff Records (ESR) system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.

Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Proven experience in recruitment and customer service, ideally within a healthcare or similar environment.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and staff record systems, particularly Trac and ESR.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
