Purchase Ledger Clerk (Temporary)
Location: Hallen, Bristol
Pay Rate: Up to 15.00 per hour
Contract: Temporary (Approx. 4 Weeks)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (1 Hour Lunch Break)
Start Date: Immediate
Adecco are currently recruiting for a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk on behalf of our client based in Hallen, Bristol.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger professional to join a busy accounts team and provide support during a period of increased workload. The successful candidate will work closely with the Accounts Manager and receive training on the company's finance system where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
- Compiling supplier payment runs
- Carrying out bank reconciliations
- Handling purchase ledger queries by telephone and email
- Acting as the first point of contact for supplier enquiries
- Assisting the Accounts Manager with day-to-day finance administration
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience within a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Assistant position
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confident using finance systems and Microsoft Office packages
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Experience with Access Financials would be advantageous, although training will be provided
