We're recruiting for a Machine Operator / Production Operative to join a successful manufacturing business in Newport.
This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with production, manufacturing or machine operating experience who are looking to join a supportive team, work regular day shifts and develop their skills within a well-established company.

The Role
As a Production Operator, you’ll play a key role in the manufacturing process, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating and monitoring manufacturing machinery
- Setting up equipment and ensuring smooth production runs
- Working with steel products and materials
- Carrying out quality inspections and checks
- Following production instructions and drawings
- Making minor machine adjustments where required
- Reporting any faults or maintenance issues
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within manufacturing, production or machine operating roles
- Experience working with machinery or production equipment
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A commitment to health and safety
- Experience within a engineering or manufacturing environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
