Corporate Actions Analyst / Middle Office Analyst
Manchester City Centre 184 per day PAYE 12-Month Contract
We're seeking an experienced Middle Office professional with Corporate Actions expertise to join a leading global financial services organisation on an initial 12-month contract based in Manchester City Centre.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in investment operations, asset servicing, custody, fund services, or middle office functions who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment managing complex transactions and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the quality control of middle office processing activities and workflow management.
- Perform detailed analysis and investigation of complex transactions and operational queries.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Corporate Actions and wider Middle Office processes.
- Manage trade enrichment, static data maintenance, exception handling, and market claims.
- Investigate and resolve cash, asset, trade matching, and market value reconciliation breaks.
- Support incident management and contribute to the integrity of the Investment Book of Record (IBOR).
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and clients to resolve complex operational issues.
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members.
Essential Experience
- Previous experience within a Middle Office, Investment Operations, Custody, Asset Servicing, or Securities Operations environment.
- Strong understanding of Corporate Actions processing.
- Experience investigating and resolving reconciliation breaks and trade exceptions.
- Ability to analyse complex transactions and identify effective solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Financial services or investment management experience.
Desirable
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
- Experience within global banking, custody, asset management, or investment services environments.
Location: Manchester City Centre (Hybrid Working)
Rate: 184 per day PAYE
Duration: 12 Months
