The Role
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Responding to breakdowns and undertaking fault diagnosis
- Supporting continuous improvement projects
- Producing accurate maintenance reports and root cause analysis
- Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime
- Supporting installation and maintenance of site equipment and utilities
- Promoting and maintaining high health & safety standards
- Liaising with external contractors, suppliers and OEMs
- Assisting with the training and development of colleagues
About You
- Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Knowledge of PLCs, inverter drives and pneumatics
- Proactive and solution-focused approach
- Good IT skills including Excel and Word
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
