About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Communications Business Partner to join a large and complex organisation dedicated to delivering essential services across the UK. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal part in driving communications that strengthen employee engagement and build brand credibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft, write, and edit high-quality content for diverse internal and external audiences.
  • Develop engaging stories and communications that align with key business campaigns and priorities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and media teams to create effective content programmes and identify suitable channels.
  • Produce a wide range of external content, including white papers, blogs, social media posts, webinars, podcasts, videos, infographics, and thought- leadership materials.
  • Design and implement internal communication plans to enhance employee engagement.
  • Facilitate effective communication between senior leadership, management teams, and employees.
  • Create communications targeted at frontline and geographically dispersed employees.
  • Generate newsletters, briefing materials, fact sheets, digital content, videos, and other employee communications.
  • Aid employees in understanding organisational strategy and progress while promoting two-way communication.
  • Leverage data and insights to measure campaign effectiveness and suggest improvements.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Oversee relationships with external agencies and suppliers as needed.
  • Mentor junior communications colleagues and share best practises.
  • Capture lessons learned from communications activities to refine future initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Our client is looking for an adept communications professional with a minimum of 5 years' experience in Communications, PR, or a closely related role, ideally within a B2B or professional services environment. The successful candidate will possess:

  • A robust track record of creating compelling content that delivers measurable business benefits.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
  • Strong internal communications and employee engagement experience.
  • Proficiency in developing content across a mix of digital and traditional channels.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with confidence in engaging senior leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Solid project management capabilities to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience in building relationships within large or complex organisations and managing external agencies.
  • An analytical mindset to utilise data and insights for communication improvements.
  • The ability to translate business strategies into clear, accessible communications.
