Role Purpose
As a Finance and Creditors Administrator, your primary responsibility will be to provide essential financial and administrative support. You will work closely with the team to uphold a strong customer service ethos, ensuring that services align with customer needs and expectations.
Key Accountabilities
- Execute transactional administrative tasks related to Purchasing and Creditors with accuracy and timeliness, adhering to legislation and organisational policies.
- Maintain and update records within designated IT systems, ensuring compliance and highlighting discrepancies when necessary.
- Review supplier statements and follow up on overdue invoices, ensuring correct budget codes are applied.
- Process invoices, ensuring VAT compliance and efficient handling of cash office services.
- Reconcile accounts and manage expenses while providing support for service level agreements and key performance indicators.
Core Skills and Behaviours
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, or Customer Service, or relevant experience.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant IT systems for information management.
- A keen eye for detail, strong organisational abilities, and a knack for meeting deadlines under pressure.
