Cleaner / Facilities Assistant
Location: Anlaby, West Hull
Hours: 30-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are recruiting for a reliable and proactive Cleaner / Facilities Assistant to join a modern, professional working environment in the Anlaby area.
This is more than a standard cleaning role. We are looking for someone who takes real pride in their surroundings, notices the little things and enjoys creating a clean, welcoming and well-maintained environment for staff, clients and visitors.
The Role
You will be responsible for maintaining high standards throughout the building and surrounding areas, working independently and using your initiative to ensure the site always looks its best.
Responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning meeting rooms, communal areas, kitchens, showers and washrooms
- Maintaining consistently high standards of cleanliness throughout the building
- Restocking cleaning products and essential supplies
- Keeping kitchen areas, appliances and communal spaces clean and presentable
- Litter picking, sweeping and general external upkeep
- Grass cutting and light outdoor maintenance where required
- Supporting with car park and external area presentation
- Identifying maintenance or repair issues and reporting them promptly
- Using initiative to identify areas requiring additional attention
- Carrying out duties with minimal disruption to employees and visitors
- Providing a friendly, professional and approachable presence on site
- Following all relevant Health & Safety procedures
About You
We are looking for somebody who is:
- Experienced within cleaning, housekeeping or facilities
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
- Proactive and willing to use their initiative
- Proud of maintaining high standards
- Friendly and confident communicating with others
- Able to manage their own workload effectively
- Comfortable completing both internal cleaning and light external duties
- Detail-focused and dependable
