Assembly Operative - Cheltenham | £13.50 per hour

Monday-Thursday: 7:30am-4:00pm | Friday: 7:30am-12:00pm

We're recruiting an experienced Assembly Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business in Cheltenham. The company is continuing to grow, making this a great time to come on board and become part of a welcoming team that takes real pride in the quality of its work.

This is a 12-week temporary-to-permanent opportunity, ideal for someone with previous assembly experience who enjoys hands-on work, has a keen eye for detail and is looking for a role with long-term potential.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assembling and testing electrical sub-assemblies
  • Building and testing complete systems
  • Assembling parts from stores
  • Integrating sub-assemblies into finished products
  • Completing documentation accurately
  • Using company tablets to access engineering drawings, emails and team communications
  • Scanning and recording supplier information
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised workspace
  • Following company processes to maintain high quality standards
  • Supporting stock control for production builds

What we're looking for:

  • Previous assembly or electrical assembly experience (essential)
  • Good dexterity and a strong eye for detail
  • Experience within a production or manufacturing environment
  • A reliable, positive and proactive approach
  • Someone who works well as part of a friendly team and takes pride in their work
