TEMPORARY FINANCE ASSISTANT - £14.87 PER HOUR
Location: Carlisle Airport, own transport essential
Pay: £14.87 per hour
Duration: Initially 1 month, with the potential to be extended

We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join our client on a temporary basis for an initial period of 1 month.
This role could potentially extend beyond the initial month, as the company is also recruiting for a permanent member of the finance team. For the right candidate, there could even be an opportunity to secure a permanent position!
Working Hours
- Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Processing the weekly payroll and associated journals
- Taking ownership of cashflow and related tasks
- Preparing month-end journals, reporting and reconciliations
- Assisting the Financial Controller with supporting reconciliations and reporting
- Liaising with the Commercial team regarding contract sales and costs reporting
About You
We're looking for someone with previous finance/accounts experience who can hit the ground running.
Payroll experience would be a great advantage, although it's not essential. We're particularly interested in candidates who are confident working with figures, organised, accurate and comfortable working within a busy finance environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a temporary role that could potentially lead to a permanent position.
