CNC Machine Operator

Bromsgrove | £18.37 - £19.50 per hour | Weekly Pay + Holiday Pay

Immediate Start | Ongoing Temporary Position

We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join a well-established engineering company in Bromsgrove on an ongoing temporary basis.

This role involves operating a Mazak Vertical Miller and requires previous experience using Mazatrol programming language. You will be machining precision-engineered components, including rings, flanges and tube-plates, working mainly with stainless steel and mild steel.

Working Hours

  • 39 hours per week
  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
  • Friday: 7:30am - 3:00pm
  • 30-minute unpaid lunch break
  • 20-minute paid morning break

Pay & Benefits

  • £18.37 - £19.50 per hour, depending on experience
  • Weekly pay
  • Accrued holiday pay
  • Early finish every Friday
  • Ongoing temporary assignment

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating a Mazak Vertical Milling Machine
  • Programming and editing using Mazatrol language
  • Drilling rings, flanges and various hole matrices in tube-plates
  • Working from engineering drawings and specifications
  • Producing high-quality components to tight tolerances
  • Maintaining health & safety and quality standards at all times

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience operating a Mazak Vertical Miller
  • Experience using Mazatrol programming language
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable and able to work independently
