The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Bespoke Project Engineer to manage engineering projects from initial enquiry through to successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage bespoke customer projects from concept through to completion.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers, providing clear communication and project updates.
- Liaise with Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.
- Provide technical guidance and practical solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate project plans, timelines, costs, and progress reporting.
- Ensure customer requirements are fully understood and translated into successful project outcomes.
- Identify and manage project risks, challenges, and opportunities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and customer experience.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and technical records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficient and effective project execution.
About You
- Experience within an engineering, manufacturing, or technical environment.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Excellent customer service and relationship management abilities.
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Experience working with bespoke products, customer-specific solutions, or engineered projects would be advantageous.
