Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Shifts Available: 6:00am - 2:00pm | 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Our client is seeking motivated and reliable Warehouse Operatives to become an integral part of their thriving warehouse operation in Ashington. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to secure long-term employment with the potential for a permanent position following a successful temporary stint.
The Role: As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring that orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for despatch while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity. This position offers a fantastic chance to contribute to a dynamic team in a growing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products using pick lists or handheld scanners.
- Safely and efficiently pack customer orders.
- Label and prepare goods for despatch.
- Conduct quality checks on products before they are shipped.
- Assist with stock movement and replenishment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous warehouse, picking, or packing experience is desirable but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Reliability and a robust work ethic.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work either shift pattern as required.
