Required Experience & Skills

  • Strong experience working as a Business Analyst in financial services
  • Essential experience within Transaction Banking
  • Strong understanding of data and data models
  • Experience working between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams
  • Excellent requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
  • Experience supporting testing and validation of reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions
  • Familiarity with Jira and SDLC processes
  • Basic SQL knowledge for data discovery and analysis
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery sessions, requirements gathering workshops, and stakeholder interviews across business and technology teams
  • Elicit, analyse, document, and manage functional and non‑functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Work closely with technical delivery teams to support the design and delivery of reporting and analytics solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business functions to identify high‑value analytics and MI use cases
  • Support testing activities including UAT and validation of dashboards, reports, and analytics products
  • Maintain requirements traceability and ensure delivered solutions align with business objectives
  • Manage and prioritise demand pipelines and analytics backlogs
  • Support rollout, adoption, and user enablement activities including training and documentation
  • Build strong relationships across business, data, and technology teams within the wider EMEA Data Office and IT organisation
