Key Responsibilities:
As a Principal Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the organisation by:
Leading and managing a diverse range of surveying projects from inception to completion.
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and best practises.
Providing expert guidance and advice on surveying matters to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Overseeing the preparation and presentation of reports, ensuring high-quality outputs are delivered on time.
Collaborating closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Mentoring and supporting junior surveyors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Essential Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
A relevant degree in surveying or a related field.
Chartered status with a recognised professional body (e.g., RICS).
Extensive experience in a surveying role, ideally within public services.
Strong knowledge of surveying practises, legislation, and regulations.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
Proven leadership capabilities, with experience in managing teams and projects effectively.
Please note due to the police vetting criteria you must have resided within the UK continuously at the time of application for at least 3 years.
