We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Warehouse Operative to join a busy and growing warehouse operation in Aberdeen.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual who holds a valid, up-to-date Forklift Truck (FLT) licence and is looking for a role that offers stability, variety and the potential to secure a permanent position.
The successful candidate will initially join on a temporary basis, with a genuine opportunity to move into a permanent role following a successful probationary period.

Key Responsibilities
As an FLT Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:
- Operating a Forklift Truck safely and efficiently to move stock throughout the warehouse
- Loading and unloading deliveries using FLT equipment
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
- Receiving, checking and booking in incoming stock
- Organising stock within the warehouse and ensuring correct storage procedures are followed
- Assisting with stock control and inventory accuracy
- Supporting garment decoration processes, including heat sealing where required
- Carrying out manual handling duties in line with health and safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily operational targets
- Undertaking general warehouse duties and providing support across departments when required
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A valid, current FLT licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach licence depending on experience)
- Previous warehouse experience within a busy operational environment
- Experience operating forklift trucks safely and confidently
- A strong understanding of warehouse health and safety practices
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- The ability to prioritise workload and work efficiently under pressure
- A reliable and punctual approach to work
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to carry out the physical aspects of the role, including manual handling
Desirable Experience
While not essential, the following experience would be advantageous:
- Previous experience within a distribution, logistics or stock management environment
- Experience with stock control systems or handheld scanners
- Garment decoration or heat sealing experience
