This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, communicating with customers and drivers, and being at the heart of a busy operation. Duties include:
- Supporting Transport Managers with day-to-day operations
- Acting as a first point of contact for drivers, customers, and depot colleagues
- Managing customer and operational enquiries via telephone and email
- Monitoring shared inboxes and ensuring queries are resolved promptly
- Handling reception duties, including answering calls and welcoming visitors
- Building strong working relationships with customers and drivers
- Providing administrative support across the transport department
- Learning all aspects of the transport operation to provide cover and support where required
What We Are Looking For:
- Previous administration experience (previous experience within Transport, Logistics, Fleet Management, or Vehicle Operations would be an advantage but not essential)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confident using Microsoft Office packages
