Our client, a leading organisation in the housing sector, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Technical Support Officer - Lifts to join their Housing Property Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about ensuring safety and compliance in residential environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Communal Lift Service.
- Coordinate lift servicing, inspections, and maintenance activities across the Council's housing portfolio.
- Monitor compliance activities to ensure timely completion of statutory inspections and servicing programmes.
- Engage with lift contractors and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Act as a point of contact for residents regarding lift-related inquiries, promoting excellent customer service.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- A-Level education or equivalent experience in housing, business administration, or related disciplines.
- Strong understanding of administrative processes and compliance management.
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience in a housing or property services environment is essential.
- Experience providing administrative support within housing, compliance, repairs, maintenance or property services.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Knowledge of lift maintenance and safety regulations.
- Relevant qualifications in engineering or property services.
