Adecco are seeking detail-oriented Fettlers to join our client's production team on a temporary basis.
This hands-on role is essential to ensuring their ceramic products meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
As a Fettler you will be responsible for finishing ceramic ware by removing mould lines, smoothing surfaces, repairing minor imperfections, and preparing items for drying and firing.
Key Responsibilities
- Remove seams, mould marks, and excess clay from cast ceramic products.
- Sponge and smooth surfaces to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Inspect products for defects and carry out minor repairs where required.
- Handle ceramic ware carefully to prevent damage during processing.
- Maintain quality standards throughout the fettling and sponging process.
- Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Keep work areas clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety procedures.
