Office-based role with the option for remote working one day per week, once fully conversant with the role and contingent on managerial approval.
Compensation and Benefits:

- Company pension plan (4% employer contribution, 4% employee contribution).
- Annual performance-related bonus between £1,500 and £2,000, contingent on candidate performance, paid in February of the following year (pro-rated for 2026).
- 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays (pro-rated for 2026).
- 5 days of sick pay within the calendar year.
- Standard working hours of 37.5 per week with flexible lunch options (either 8am to 4:30pm or 8:30am to 5pm).
- A 3-month probation period with the opportunity for private health scheme enrollment upon successful completion.

Our client, a prominent player in the Manufacturing & Production sector, is seeking a skilled Estimator to join their dynamic team in Sleugh. If you have a passion for precision and a flair for detail, this could be the perfect opportunity to make a significant impact!
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce and revise quotations for commercial dish/glass and warewashing systems, ensuring adherence to company guidelines and standards.
- Evaluate quotation requests from the external sales team and dealer network for accuracy, specifying and pricing accordingly.
- Coordinate with the CAD team to prepare sales layout drawings, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
- Source pricing for non-standard equipment from our HQ in Germany, or UK fabricators and suppliers.
- Manage and log sales quotes, leads, and inquiries, providing monthly updates to stakeholders.
- Facilitate drawing approval with the factory in Germany and UK fabricators.
- Check UK fabrications for accuracy upon delivery to the warehouse.
- Foster effective working relationships with internal teams and fabricators to support seamless operations.
- Assist colleagues in maintaining high-quality installation and service information.
Essential Requirements:
- A professional, proactive approach to tasks.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong mathematical skills and a solid command of written English grammar.
- Exceptional attention to detail for accuracy in specifications, costing, and pricing.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Technical understanding of basic services (water, waste, electric) is advantageous.
- Competency in measuring items accurately (e.g., using a tape measure).
- Organised with the ability to maintain clear, structured records.
- Eagerness to expand knowledge and pursue continuous improvement.
- Capacity to learn and understand technical specifications effectively.
Desirable Skills:
- An estimating or technical background with transferable skills, especially in sales or customer support providing pricing or technical assistance.
