Key Responsibilities: Lead and motivate a team to achieve daily operational targets. Ensure high standards of quality and efficiency are maintained throughout shifts. Communicate effectively with team members and management to foster a positive work environment. Oversee training and development of team members to enhance skills and performance, providing feedback. Address any issues that may arise during shifts promptly and effectively Comply with H&S audit requirements Maintain systems and processes Ensure orders are worked in accordance with picking Plan and customer expectations Ensure a smooth flow of inbound stock within required time scales Working closely with other shift managers to maintain overall site performance Manage attendance, conduct and personnel issues inline with company polices. Maintain a suite of KPI's, investigate variances Identify opportunities for improvement Liaise, support and develop working relationships with internal and external customers The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Proven experience in a leadership role within a team environment. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate leadership Strong attention to detail, ensuring all aspects of operations run smoothly. A proactive approach to problem-solving and team management. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
