A well-established and growing business based in Sheerness is looking to recruit 2 Packing Operatives on a temp-to-perm basis to join their friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy working in a busy factory environment, take pride in their work, and can use their own initiative whilst also contributing as part of a close-knit team. As a small, family-feel organisation, you'll work closely with colleagues across various departments and play a key role in ensuring customer orders are packed and dispatched accurately and on time.
What You'll Be Doing
- Picking products using customer work orders
- Wrapping and shrink-wrapping goods ready for dispatch
- Ensuring all relevant paperwork is included with the correct products
- Packing goods onto pallets safely and securely
- Completing orders on the internal system
- Printing dispatch paperwork and delivery labels
- Learning company products and packaging requirements
- Carrying out quality checks (full training provided)
- Prioritising workload according to collection and dispatch deadlines
