What You'll Be Doing
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play an important part in making sure products are picked, handled and moved safely and accurately.
Your responsibilities will include:
Picking and handling products accurately
Moving products and stock safely around the warehouse
Following established warehouse processes and procedures
Carrying out regular manual handling tasks
Lifting items weighing approximately 7.5kg
Pushing and pulling picking carts as part of your daily duties
Using pallet trucks and other mechanical handling equipment once trained
Supporting the loading of vehicles
Working outdoors when loading vehicles when required
Completing repetitive tasks while maintaining a good level of accuracy
Carrying out safety checks before beginning work
Identifying and reporting errors, hazards or issues
Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping
