Working schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:30am - 3:30pm and Fridays 6:30am - 12:00pm.

Adecco are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to install, repair, and maintain electrical systems across a range of vehicles at our client's site based in Sandbach. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical circuits, wiring and excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of electrical circuits and system functionality
- Test, inspect, and snag wiring and electrical systems
- Carry out installation and repair of wiring, circuits, batteries, alternators, and starters
- Perform loom building and installation of vehicle wiring harnesses
- Conduct van testing and ensure all electrical systems are functioning correctly
- Install additional electrical systems and accessories such as alarms, GPS units, lighting, and audio equipment
- Interpret and work from technical diagrams, wiring schematics, and manuals
- Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Diagnose electrical faults in vehicles using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
Skills and experience:
- Proven experience as an Auto Electrician or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Good understanding of electrical circuits and wiring systems
- Experience with looming, testing, and fault-finding beneficial
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and quality of work
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Good communication skills
