About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a friendly, organised, and professional School Receptionist to join a busy school in Sale on a temporary basis until the New Year. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced educational environment. As the first point of contact for visitors, parents, pupils, and staff, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the school's reception area.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the front reception desk and welcoming visitors
- Answering and directing incoming telephone calls and emails
- Handling visitor sign-in procedures and maintaining safeguarding processes
- Providing administrative support to the wider school team
- Managing incoming and outgoing post
- Updating and maintaining school records and databases
- Assisting with pupil attendance records and general office administration
- Supporting staff, parents, and students with queries in a professional manner
Candidate Requirements
- Previous reception, administration, or customer service experience
