Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert in Property and Construction Procurement, offering specialist advice that aligns with the UK Government's Construction Playbook.
- Translate comprehensive market insights into actionable procurement strategies that support the Estates Transformation Programme.
- Identify and analyse emerging trends, supplier capabilities, and commercial opportunities to inform future procurement activities.
- Advise on the most suitable commercial delivery models, ensuring compliance with procurement legislation and internal governance frameworks.
- Act as a commercial interface between programme leadership, property teams, and various functions including Finance and Legal.
- Design and implement fit-for-purpose contracting models, including NEC and JCT arrangements, to enhance project success and collaboration.
- Manage risks associated with procurement processes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality commercial advice to senior stakeholders.
