Our client, a well-established manufacturing business, is seeking a dedicated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to enhance its engineering function at a bustling production facility in Newcastle.

The Role
As a pivotal member of a small engineering team, you will ensure the reliability, performance, and safety of production equipment throughout the site.
Key responsibilities include
- Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults on production equipment.
- Responding swiftly to machinery breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality, and housekeeping.
About You
Our client is looking for a proactive and motivated Maintenance Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ideally, you will have
- Previous experience in manufacturing, FMCG, packaging, or process environments.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
