Multi-Skilled Mechanical Engineer Location: Kendal, Cumbria We are seeking a motivated Multi-Skilled Mechanical Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business in Kendal. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving a wide range of manufacturing machinery and site equipment to ensure maximum reliability and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities. Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical faults. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability. Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company procedures. Maintain accurate maintenance records using the CMMS system. Requirements Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND, or equivalent). Proven experience within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
