The Role
- Play a key role in supporting the import process for products entering the UK and EU.
- Work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders and storage facilities.
- Ensure shipments are processed accurately and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Updating and maintaining purchase and sales order information
- Managing order statuses and tracking shipment dates
- Checking import documentation and ensuring compliance requirements are met
- Processing customs, duty and clearance documentation
- Coordinating deliveries and issuing instructions to storage facilities
- Monitoring stock receipts and resolving discrepancies
- Liaising with suppliers, forwarding agents and logistics partners
- Completing stock reconciliations and maintaining accurate records
