Job Type: Full Time | Temp to Perm | Immediate Starts Available

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:15pm (38 hours per week)

Regular overtime available (Saturday paid at T/12, Sunday paid at double time)

Task and Finish role - once your route and duties are completed, you can finish for the day while still being paid for your full scheduled shift.

The Role

As a 7.5T Sweeper Driver, you will:

  • Safely drive and operate specialist 7.5T street sweeping vehicles
  • Clean designated roads, footways, public spaces, and highways
  • Remove litter, leaves, debris, and other waste materials
  • Carry out bulky waste collections in accordance with operational requirements
  • Lead and complete daily routes efficiently and safely
  • Conduct vehicle checks and accurately report defects or maintenance issues
  • Complete all required compliance documentation, including working hours and fleet records
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety procedures
  • Maintain relevant licences, qualifications, and training requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Full UK Driving Licence with C1 (7.5T) entitlement
  • Hold a valid Driver CPC qualification
  • Previous experience driving 7.5T vehicles is desirable
  • Be reliable, hardworking and safety conscious
  • Be physically fit due to the nature of the role
  • Have a positive attitude and excellent team-working skills
  • Be willing to support colleagues and go the extra mile to ensure routes are completed successfully
  • Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with members of the public
