Communications Executive
Location: London Hybrid
Contract Type: 3 Months

Our client, a prominent player in the public services sector, is seeking a proactive and creative Communications Executive to join their dynamic communications team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a large and complex organisation and help deliver impactful internal and external communications.

Working closely with the Communications Business Partner, the successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting employee engagement initiatives while enhancing and protecting the organisation's brand and reputation. This hands-on position is ideal for an individual with strong copywriting, digital content creation, and communication skills, who enjoys managing multiple projects and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Support the delivery of engaging internal and external communication plans, projects, and campaigns.
Write, edit, and proofread captivating communications, including newsletters, articles, leaflets, and brochures.
Create and manage digital content across various channels, including email, intranet, internal social media, and video.
Oversee content and news flow across internal communication platforms.
Ensure all communications are accurate, engaging, and aligned with brand guidelines.
Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition activities, and events.
Coordinate the production of communications materials in collaboration with designers, printers, and external partners.
Help organise and coordinate both internal and external events.
Collaborate with colleagues in Communications, Marketing, and Brand departments.
Manage and support the administration of key communication tools and platforms.
Build positive working relationships with stakeholders across different areas of the organisation.
Lead communications projects from initial brief through to successful delivery.

What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will possess:

Previous experience in internal/external communications, corporate communications, PR, or a similar role.
Strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.
Experience in creating engaging digital content tailored for various audiences.
Familiarity with internal social media or employee engagement platforms.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
Good stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with collaboration platforms such as SharePoint and Teams.
A collaborative approach and confidence to work across teams.
A genuine desire to learn and progress within the communications field.

Desirable Skills

Experience with video creation and editing.
Background in coordinating events.
Experience communicating with employees across multiple locations or a geographically dispersed workforce.
