The Role
Reporting to the Asset Surveying Lead, you will provide technical leadership, quality assurance, and day-to-day management of the Asset Surveying team.
The focus is on driving high standards, improving customer outcomes, and supporting the transition from reactive repairs to proactive asset management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Asset Surveyors.
• Manage quality assurance across
- Disrepair inspections
- Damp, Mould & Condensation investigations
- Void inspections
- Repairs inspections
- HHSRS assessments
- Stock Condition Surveys
- Act as the technical lead on complex and high-risk cases, including structural defects, complaints and escalated disrepair matters.
- Review survey outputs, ensure consistency of specifications, and identify opportunities for service improvement.
- Work closely with Asset Strategy, Repairs, Compliance and Delivery teams to support long-term investment and asset decisions.
- What They're Looking For
- Significant experience in property or asset surveying within social housing or a regulated environment.
- Experience leading, mentoring or managing surveying professionals.
