Why is this role important

LHP is embarking on one of the most ambitious and important periods in its history.

With Board approval secured for a 10-year development programme to deliver up to 2,350 new homes between 2026 and 2036, we are seeking a Head of Growth to shape and lead the delivery of this transformational agenda.

Working closely with the Executive Team and Board, the Head of Growth will lead the delivery of LHP's ambitious growth programme, helping to address housing need across Lincolnshire while strengthening the organisation's long-term sustainability and impact.

As our development ambitions continue to grow, so too will the team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop an existing team of six colleagues while spearheading the recruitment of additional talent. Alongside a salary of £88.018 you'll enjoy a fantastic range of benefits: -

28 days' holiday (excluding bank holidays), increasing annually for your first five years.

Opportunities to earn extra leave for full attendance, plus buy/sell options.

Access to Mental Health First Aiders across the business.

You'll also join a positive team culture where your development is a priority and your ideas are valued.

What will I be doing?

You'll oversee a programme that has already begun to take shape, including LHP's first package deal development, which will deliver 51 new affordable, energy-efficient homes in Boston.

As we prepare to scale delivery from 2027 onwards, the Head of Growth will play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities, securing investment and funding, forging strategic partnerships, and creating a high-performing development function capable of delivering homes at scale.

Growth at LHP is about much more than increasing housing numbers. It is about creating thriving communities, improving access to affordable housing, delivering modern and sustainable homes, supporting local economic growth, and ensuring the organisation has the financial resilience to continue investing in excellent services for customers.

You'll also play a key part in unlocking the potential of our land assets and supporting the strategic rationalisation of properties that no longer align with our current or future needs.
