Grounds Maintenance Operative - Leicester
£13.47 per hour | Temporary Contract |
Enjoy working outdoors and take pride in keeping communities looking their best? We're looking for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team in Leicester on a temporary basis.
Please note: A full and valid UK driving licence is essential for this role, as you will be required to drive company vehicles, including long wheelbase and tipper vans when needed.
What you'll be doing:
- Grass cutting, hedge trimming and general grounds maintenance
- Shrub bed maintenance, leaf clearance and litter picking
- Removal of fly-tipping and waste materials
- Operating grounds maintenance equipment safely
- Helping to keep communal areas clean, safe and well-presented
- Providing excellent customer service to residents and customers
What we're looking for:
- Previous grounds maintenance experience
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Ability to drive a long wheelbase vehicle or tipper van
- A reliable, hands-on approach and willingness to work outdoors
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Desirable:
- PA1 and/or PA6 spraying licences
